Our God is a Generous Giver

Proverbs 3:9-10 (NIV)
Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.
Proverbs 3:9-10 (The Message)
Honor God with everything you own; give him the first and the best. Your barns will burst, your wine vats will brim over.
Many times when we come to the times of giving, we come with a lens of lacking and even with a poverty mindset.
We thought that our God is a poor God, and when we have given the portion of our wealth, God will not add back to us.
Or we think that even if God would give back to us, God could not do it.
How many times we have misjudge about God's ability?

In order for us to give generously, we need to have the right perspective of who our God is.

Our God is a giver. He is able to give. And when He gives, He gives generously!
Proverbs 3:9-10 says that, your barns will overflow and even burst!

1 Tim 6:17 encourages us to trust in our living God, that able to give to us richly, generously, all (good) things!

In fact, when God gives, he do not just give for your generation, he can give to the next generation in your family as well. Psalm 115:14 says: May the LORD give you increase more and more, You and your children. God cares for you and your family.

Romans 8:32
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
1 Timothy 6:17
Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.
Deuteronomy 8:18
“And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
Psalm 115:14
May the LORD give you increase more and more, You and your children.
